The Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma is so grateful to our local business partners, News on 6, Burnett Home Improvement, and TriStar Glass Products, for their help in feeding children in our communities. These three businesses have formed a partnership called the Hunger Coalition to raise money for our Food for Kids program with a goal of having no child hungry in eastern Oklahoma. We are asking other local business leaders who feel passionate about this goal, to join the Hunger Coalition in fighting childhood hunger. The more businesses who participate, the more children the Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma will be able to feed. 1 in 4 children in Oklahoma face food insecurity on a daily basis, so this partnership can have a huge impact on the 24 counties we serve in eastern Oklahoma.
