Oklahoma SNAP food assistance program

The program provides monthly funds for individuals and households with lower incomes.

What is SNAP?

SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) is a federal program that helps people with lower incomes buy food. In 2022, more than 41 million Americans purchased food with SNAP benefits.

SNAP provides funds each month to help Oklahoma households afford nutritious food to support their health and well-being. If you’re eligible, SNAP can help stretch your monthly budget so you can put food on the table and still pay your medical bills, utilities, and rent.

As the largest program working to fight hunger in America, SNAP allows you to buy food through local grocery stores, convenience stores, farmer’s markets, and online delivery services.
