Hunters Against Hunger gives Oklahoma hunters a simple way to turn their harvest into high-quality protein for families facing hunger.
When you legally harvest a deer, you can donate it to a participating meat processor. The venison is processed into ground meat and distributed by the Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma to food pantries and meal programs across eastern Oklahoma.
The Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma handles the distribution, ensuring the venison reaches food pantries and meal programs where it’s needed most. This is more than a donation, it’s a way to feed neighbors, support food security, and be part of something bigger. Every deer donated can provide dozens of meals.
1. Legally harvest a deer during any Oklahoma deer season and complete the required check-in process here.
2. Bring your deer to a participating Hunters Against Hunger meat processor near you (see list below for participating processors).
3. The processor turns your donated deer into ground venison, which is distributed through the Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma to local food pantries and meal programs.
Your donation is more than a deer. It is nutritious protein for an Oklahoma family, support for your local community, and a way to make your harvest go even further.
