Feed Oklahoma: A Statewide School Meal Initiative Powered by TSET

The Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma is launching Feed Oklahoma, a transformative statewide initiative made possible by a three-year, $9.4 million legacy grant from the Tobacco Settlement Endowment Trust (TSET). This investment allows us to expand access to nutritious meals for students in all 77 counties of Oklahoma.

Every meal in this program will be created and produced in the Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma’s new state-of-the-art culinary center.

Professional chefs design and prepare balanced, ready-to-heat meals that support student health and learning. From this centralized production hub, meals will be delivered throughout eastern Oklahoma and supplied to the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma for distribution to schools across the rest of the state.

This work builds on a successful model already serving schools in the Tulsa area. With TSET’s support, we will grow from 20 schools today to 200 schools statewide by 2028, providing more than 1.7 million meals over the three-year period.

As Oklahoma continues to rank among the bottom five states for food insecurity, Feed Oklahoma represents a significant step forward in ensuring that every child has access to nutrition that fuels success both in and out of the classroom.

Together, we are building a stronger, healthier future for Oklahoma’s students — one chef-designed meal at a time. Together, we are building a healthier and stronger future for Oklahoma’s students — one chef-designed meal at a time.
