Welcome to The Feed — a quick update about the tremendous impact YOU — our donors, partner agencies, volunteers, and the eastern Oklahoma community make! We could not fight hunger without you!
New Statewide Initiative Brings Nutritious Meals to Students Across Oklahoma

We are proud to announce the launch of FEEDOK, an innovative statewide initiative made possible through a TSET Legacy Grant that is transforming how we address childhood hunger. Through this investment, the Food Bank’s Culinary Center is producing nutritious, chef designed meals that will be distributed through school pantries, reaching students in every county across Oklahoma. Over the next three years, FEEDOK is projected to provide approximately 1.7 million meals in partnership with the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma.
To meet growing demand, we are seeking volunteers to help pack up to 1,500 meals each day. Two daily shifts of 10 to 15 volunteers in our Culinary Center will help ensure these meals reach children who need them most. Together, we can scale this effort and make a lasting impact for Oklahoma families.
Junior Ambassadors Advocate for Change

The Food Bank's Junior Ambassadors were invited to participate in “Anti-Hunger Day” at the Oklahoma City Capitol. The event was hosted by the Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma, Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma, and Hunger Free Oklahoma. This group of High School Juniors and Seniors spent the day meeting with lawmakers, networking with other food advocates, and providing a voice for the youth in our communities. We were excited to include this amazing group of young adults and are grateful to our Junior Ambassadors for the impact they make.
Scouting for Food Brings Community Together to Fight Hunger!

We are grateful to Scouting America’s Indian Nations Council for doing such a ‘Good Turn’ for the Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma! The Scouting for Food project wrapped up on Valentine’s Day! The general public was also invited to be part of this wonderful program and dropped off donations all day at a local Reasor’s. If you missed it and want to contribute, you can make a monetary donation online at https://okfoodbank.org/scout/ .
All donations will go to the Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma and our 600+ partner pantries.
