Instacart is the leading grocery technology company in North America, and they work with grocers and retailers to transform how people shop. The Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma is grateful to receive one of their $10,000 Instacart Disaster Relief grants! We provided our partner pantries and programs that recently experienced a disaster with funds they needed and provided training about Instacart. Participating partners used the funds through Instacart and then delivered the food to their neighbors through food pantries and programs. Through Instacart Health, the company is also providing tools to increase nutrition security, make healthy choices easier for consumers, and expand the role that food can play in improving health outcomes.
