We are honored the national board of directors for Feeding America and Chief Executive Officer Claire Babineaux-Fontenot chose our food bank to tour and hold a special board meeting.
A special Native American themed dinner and reception was also held in addition to a panel discussion featuring tribal experts and leaders from Eastern Oklahoma who discussed food sovereignty. The Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma is one of more than 200 in a network of food banks in the United States working to create a future where no is hungry. CEO and President Jeff Marlow provided a tour of our facility and was able to share how our dedicated staff works day in and day out to help our neighbors in need!
