The Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma’s Summer Feeding program has been in full swing and on August 1, 2024 we served our 200,000th meal! Oklahoma is one of the nation’s most food-insecure areas for young children. In fact, 1 in 4 children in Oklahoma struggle daily with hunger. We are grateful to all the generous supporters who made our summer feeding program a success this year. This summer, especially the children who benefit from our summer feeding sites were able to enjoy healthy meals and snacks! We also thank our dedicated Summer Feeding staff who continue to work tirelessly on behalf of the children and families in need.
