FAQ for Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma donors

Tell me more about the Food Bank

Our food sourcing model relies on three primary channels:

  • 19% of our food comes from USDA provisions
  • Community and retail partners generously donate 55%
  • The Food Bank purchases the remaining 26%

When you make a monetary contribution, you play a vital role in supporting the 26% of the food we purchase. Thanks to our special partnerships with wholesale retailers, every $1 you donate enables us to acquire at least 4 meals for those in need. Your contribution goes a long way in ensuring that no one goes hungry in our community.

The Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma extends its reach across 24 counties in the eastern Oklahoma region.
