A special salute and thank you to 3M for a $12,000 grant to the Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma! These crucial funds will be used to distribute food to our pantries and meal programs; including on-site hot meals, emergency shelters, food pantries, child and senior meal programs, veterans’ initiatives, and disaster relief programs. FBEO’s direct services programs include Cooking Matters, Food for Kids, Senior Servings, Mobile Pantry, and Culinary Center. Our direct service programs and 600+ pantries and meal programs provide nutritious food to low-income families, students, seniors, military veterans, and ethnic minorities in underserved urban and rural areas. This wonderful grant translates into distributing 48,000 meals to food-insecure individuals across the 24 counties of eastern Oklahoma. That’s almost 60,000 pounds of food distributed!
