When students have access to food through School Pantry Programs they are guided towards healthy choices for themselves and their family. With a broad array of food choices, School Pantry Programs help meet the needs of older students who have the ability to prepare their own food, unlike younger children receiving backpacks. The School Pantry Program recently expanded to also serve the needs of food insecure students in college settings.
