SNAP in Oklahoma

The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) is a Federal program that provides extra money for groceries each month for qualified households. SNAP benefits are deposited onto an EBT card that can be used at most grocery stores and farmers markets.

Oklahoma is one of 13 states where food insecurity is higher than the national average. Access to SNAP can help households in need fill in the gaps in their food budget, and we want to make sure as many qualifying residents have access to SNAP benefits as possible. To achieve this, we created the SNAP Outreach Program at the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma.
