This poster was designed for use at each school site housing a school pantry. It informs students that confidential food help is available and how to access it. Meet the winner of the design contest, Dinalee from Rogers High School.
“The inspiration I got, by creating the poster, was from my past experiences. When I was a child I experienced a dramatic issue that led me into getting donations to help my family eat. Remembering that time helped motivate creating the poster. I thought of different foods people donate, such as canned foods, vegetables, fruits and baked goods.”
The School Pantry Program is one part of Food for Kids programming through the Food Bank. If you would like to make sure that the one in four Oklahoma children who are food insecure have enough nutritious food to eat in order to succeed in life and in school, donate now to Food for Kids programming.
