When you meet Chef Jeremy Johnson today, it’s easy to see the accomplished leader, talented chef, and passionate advocate behind our culinary programs. What many may not realize is that his story began with challenges that shaped his deep commitment to serving others. Growing up in Tulsa, Chef Jeremy’s experiences gave him a firsthand understanding of what it means to need support, community, and hope. Those experiences helped forge the compassionate leader he is today. Now, as Chief Culinary Officer at the Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma, Chef Jeremy leads a team that prepares thousands of nutritious meals each year while ensuring every neighbor is served with dignity and respect. His journey from a young person facing adversity to a leader helping feed eastern Oklahoma is a testament to resilience, determination, and the power of giving back.
