The Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma is proud to partner with Tulsa Public Schools and their Summer Café program. Summer Café provides nutritional breakfasts and lunches to children, 18 years of age and younger, free of charge. More than 70 sites will be serving breakfast and/or lunch throughout the Tulsa Public Schools district.

Summer Café begins June 5 and runs through August 1. Meals are provided to all children 18 and under. No application or ID necessary.

What is Summer Café?
The Summer Café program is a federally-funded program operated nationally by the U.S. Department of Agriculture. The program was created to provide the opportunity for children, ages 18 and under, to continue their physical and social development while receiving nutritious meals, free of charge, during summer months.

Who is eligible?
All children 18 years of age and younger are eligible to receive breakfast and lunch through the Summer Cafe program.

How is the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma involved?
The Food Bank is coordinating four mobile Summer Café sites at Reed Park, Church of the Resurrection, Sierra Pointe Apartments and Grace United Methodist Church. Food Bank employees and volunteers will help manage these sites and serve Summer Café meals.
