From Lemonade to Sweet Corn : November 30, 2017

In the summer of 2016 we told you about Hudson and Bennett running a lemonade stand, out of which they decided to give their proceeds to help others who were hungry. This summer they grew sweet corn at their “Papa’s” farm just north of Ponca City. The boys helped with the corn harvest themselves and donated a large part of the proceeds to the Food Bank. Subway – World Sandwich Day : September 26, 2017

Friday, November 3, 2017 is World Sandwich Day! To celebrate, Subway will be running a promotion of: “Buy One,  Get One,  Give One” For every sub + 30 oz drink purchased, Subway will give the customer a free sub (of equal or lesser value) and donate 1 meal to Feeding America. 75% of the funds will be distributed to the local food bank where the purchase was made.

  Bill Major volunteered at Neighbor for Neighbor while he was in high school. During that time its director, Dan Allen mentored him. Later, Bill joined a Tulsa Metropolitan Ministry taskforce on hunger.
