For 35 Years, People Make the Difference : June 30, 2016

  Bill Major volunteered at Neighbor for Neighbor while he was in high school. During that time its director, Dan Allen mentored him. Later, Bill joined a Tulsa Metropolitan Ministry taskforce on hunger. The taskforce identified that food banking was a crucial element to help feed the hungry, and Dan ultimately hired Bill to run the emerging food bank. Food Bank Receives Partner of the Year Award : May 25, 2016

Partners in Education, an organization with the goal of connecting schools with businesses and organizations to increase the quality of education, awarded the Food Bank the prestigious Partner of the Year Award.
