PB&J’s Thousands of ‘Em : December 28, 2016

Thanks to the combined efforts of students from Bishop Kelley and Cascia Hall who joined forces to make thousands of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. The sandwiches went out the next day to several appreciative programs. In addition, each participating student brought extra cans and jars of PB&J to help stock our shelves. Thanks to a partnership with SemGroup Corporation the Food Bank provided 100 complete holiday meals at Rosa Parks Elementary. Kim Knave at SemGroup received a card referencing the smoked meats program, and decided to make a connection with the Food Bank.
